Sesame Seed Ball
Recipe

To fry: add oil into pan about 1/2 way. Drop sesame balls into medium high oil one at a time. Keep stiring until sesame balls turn golden brown. Cool about 10 min before serving.

   

Sesame  Ball

INGREDIENTS

 

DOUGH:

1 bag - sweet rice flour ( green bag )

1 package- Alsa baking powder ( from Asian store )

1 cup - sugar

3 tbs - mash potato flake

3 tbs - regular rice flour ( red bag )

1 tbs - corn starch

1-1/3 cup - water

1 bag - sesame seed ( white or black ) in seperate bowl.

 

FILLING:

1 bag yellow bean ( steamed & mashed )

Add sugar & pinch of salt to taste

1/2 cup of coconut flake ( optional )  - you may also add water to make filling soft & easy to work with.

 

Direction:  Mix dry ingreints well before add water. Continue mixing dough about 5-10 min.

Using table spoon or small ice cream scooper to scoop dough, and work with your hands

until you get a nice round ball. 

 

Forming sesame ball : take uncook dough, press between two hands, using your thumb to

press right into center of flat dough for filling.  Cover filling with dough completely, roll ball into sesame seed. Now, the sesame ball is ready to fry !
